March Madness

Here's the lovely ladies of my community group! Plus a few missing... We're having fun getting to know each other and Christ.

Sometimes Charlie sits more like a human than a dog. It's pretty fun. we're looving having a dog! He's been a lot of fun.

March 5th my Dad had a Birthday! Haley my niece and I decorated his cake... but we used this new icing that you put in the mircowave for a little bit and squeeze out... we put it in the mirco a little too long cuz it melted all the frosting underneath is... Dad had a melty birthday.

We also had our winter retreat this last month... Matt in this picture is a college friend that lives in sisters where we have the reteat. He's pretty fun, it was good to spend time with him and his wife Leslie and my other college friend Christine that weekend, she helped me cook!

Brent's 33rd birthday!

It snowed the day before Brent's Birthday which made it fun to wake up and have snow for his 33rd. We had an art and cocktails party with friends. It was a lot of fun!! We have some great artists for friends and were left with some great art to hang on the walls. It was nice to host another thing in our new house! it's perfect for hosting!!

We spent an afternoon snowshoeing with Kathy, Brent's brest friend Dean, christel, and their daughter amy. that was fun!

Winter conference was a fun time to spend with the girls! The theme was masterpeice and off to the side were blank polorids to pose in.

Addition to the Family!

This is our new puppy Charlie!! We shamefully bought him doggie clothes for our CRU Christmas party. I'm not sure if i'm proud of that fact, but he sure did look cute.

He's been really fun to have around. He's half Pug Half Boston Terrier. So he has some spunk but then crashes.

Brent and I took a train trip to centrailia for our anniversary and stayed at the Mcminnemins there in town. It was really relaxing, fun and romantic. It snowed!

Here we are! Brent and I; Evan, Michelle and their pup; Ari and Mossimo; Matt and Leslie; Duane and Ann; and Joe and Shannon! Off for a lovey semi-rainy two day trip on the river!

Matt brought his kite just in case the wind kicked in. It was fun watching it fly above us as we were rafting away.

Brent and I! Brent rowed our raft the WHOLE two days. He's buff. Part of the time i rode on the mountain of gear so that friends could join us on our boat! It was fun.

This is a picture of Brent and I during my New Staff Training comencement ceremony in Colorado. CCC hosted a fancy catered dinner for us! I got to wear a new dress that I picked out with Emme. (my sister-in-law)

Home Sweet Home

So, i forgot my user name and password for a while...haha thats why there haven't been many new updates.

WE'RE BACK in for corvallis! It was so nice to come home after 7 weeks of conference and a week of traveling out house was nice to walk into. It feels like home here in this town too. Not a whole lot is happening in corvallis though, friends are in and out of town but i guess so are we.

so far since we've been home we've unpacked, gone to church, seen a friends new little baby boy, went rafting and saw a play in the MU Quad! (thats like Oregon States main part of campus) it was really fun. now we're off to the beach to see my family and Christine! I'm excited. I haven't seen them in what seems like forever.

Here is a picture from our Staff Conference in Colorado.. Lots of people, and that was a low night!

On the way home Brent, Mick, Kathy and I stopped to have dinner in this cute Baravian town! It was so fun!

























And lastly, a pictures of our little corvallis rafting trip with friends. We had a little BBQ on the side of the river. one of our friends even brought their puppy on board! He was cute and didn't fall in. We took a wrong turn on this river though and missed our take out by a good couple football feilds, so we had to jump out and walk the raft up stream! haha. BUT on our little wrong turn we did see an otter. so maybe it was worth it.
